Hello! My name is Cheryl Herder!

The HISTORY: I’ve been a Red Seal certifiedhairstylist since 2013. I have worked in multiple salons; but once my boys wereborn, I decided to try and make it on my own. This new journey started out in atiny room in my basement (hence the name). The business ebbed and flowedthrough the births of my boys, but I always found myself back behind the greenchair doing what I love. We have since moved and I now have an incredibleseparate space in my home.

ABOUT ME:  I am a mom to 4 amazing boys and love every minute of it! Boy energy is my jam, and we have the greatest time adventuring together. My husband and I are opposites, he’s the math guy and I’m the artsy fartsy type. Luckily, we have many shared hobbies in our family. Mountain biking, camping, baseball, crossfit, running and I even pay attention during hockey games. Our house is full of life and sometimes it spills over into my salon (apologies in advance).

The DREAM: Doing hair is truly my passion and connecting with people is the cherry on top. I will admit that I am not very good at social media, and I am definitely not a business mogul. I aim to provide quality services at a reasonable price. My main goal is to create a relaxed environment where creativity and conversation can flow. I promise to listen to all your question sand concerns and work with you toward your hair goals.
